I have now been completely locked out from that
I’d like to say that the modern West is “navigating” its way through a life among the ruins, but instead it is wading through the muck of its own making and not blinking an eyelid to the stench of its own waste.
The recent edict delivered to Elon Musk by Australia’s eSafety Commissioner, Julie Inman Grant, to censor hate speech on Twitter or face the hefty fine of $700,000 per day, led my curious mind back to another time when people were subjected to rather nasty pieces of legislation.
