Welcome to my new home on Ghost.

I have finally made the jump from Substack, who sadly have given in to the Australian government’s bizarre authoritarian Under 16 social media ban, despite them not even being on the hit list.

I have now been completely locked out from that account, which I own, and which Substack assured me and everyone that there would be no effect on how we post and engage with our readers. But here we are.

For transparency, I did send out an email from within Substack alerting everyone on my subscriber list, all of who voluntarily signed up there, that I would be moving and did request confirmation that you would be happy to be brought across with me. I suspect most people have opted out of receiving emails as I have only received a handful out of the 282 subscribers, hence they would not have received that. Since my entire subscriber list has been transferred across to Ghost automatically, I ask that if you choose to no longer subscribe to my publication, feel free to unsubscribe at the bottom of the email.

As at the time of writing, my posts are not yet available here, but I am working on getting them up one by one. For now, this is just an announcement of my new publication home and a welcome to you all should you decide to stay and walk the ancient roads with me.
